Diggle is located at one end of the restored Standedge Canal Tunnel, Britain's longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel. Sherpa Van recommends staying here overnight prior to walking Stage 2 of the route from Standedge to Hebden Bridge.
Sunfield is situated in Diglea which is an old weaving hamlet that lies at the end of the Standedge canal tunnel. All rooms are ground level with easy access in and out of the premises.

Cash onlyMy cottages is a situated in a small hamlet next to Diggle. I have 2 beautiful bedrooms with double beds. The cottage is very quirky with wooden floors exposed stone walls and a tree apparently growing through the bedroom floor and up through the ceiling! There is only one bathroom but it is fab. It has a large shower and separate bath. It’s very quirky and homely. At the front of the house there is a sunny patio where you can relax with a drink after a long day walking. The Diggle Hotel is a few hundred yards away if you fancy a cheeky beer or a meal.
