Delph is an attractive village a few miles to the east of Oldham. The centre of the village has barely changed from the 19th century when a number of small textile mills provided employment for the local community. There are several pubs and restaurants. Sherpa Van recommends staying here overnight prior to walking Stage 2 of the route from Standedge to Hebden Bridge.
