Situated in the small hamlet of Whinfell, near Kendal in Cumbria, Lapwings Barn enjoys an idyllic location on the edge of the Lake District. The bed and breakfast accommodation suits those interested in walking, birdwatching or those touring who require a peaceful place to relax. There are many long and short walks from the barn. Access to The Dales Way is about half a mile away. The owners speak Spanish and some French (one of the owners is a Cumbrian). Dinner is required to be booked in advance.
