The Bolton Abbey Estate has been managed by the Devonshire family since 1755, and remains the Yorkshire seat of the 12th Duke of Devonshire. At the heart of the estate lies the priory Church and the ruins of an Augustinian priory. There are several hotels and B&Bs within the estate, as well as tea rooms, cafés and restaurants.
