Cowgill is a tiny village, right on the Dales Way. The Sportsman's Inn is the village's only pub and accommodation.
Family owned since 1988, Grade 2 listed 17th century Inn. Situated on the Dales Way alongside the river Dee and overlooking the Settle Carlisle railway. We provide accommodation, food and fine ale (featured in the 2019 good beer guide) for the weary traveller. We have two twin and two double rooms each with their own private bathroom (not en-suite), tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryers. A table for evening meals will be reserved in front of the open fire for residents. Whilst we only have limited WI-FI access we do have 4G connection via the EE network. Access to accommodation from 4 p.m. Evening meals 7-9 p.m. Not open Monday lunchtime.
