Great Broughton is a large and not especially interesting village, 2.5 miles by road north from the combined Coast to Coast and Cleveland Way trails. It has a hotel, pubs, several B&Bs and campsites.
Dromonby Bridge is a victorian farmhouse, which has recently been refurbished to a high standard offering en-suite facilities. It is situated between Kirkby in Cleveland and Busby, two miles south of Stokesley at the foot of the Cleveland Hills, which are within the North York Moors National Park, and close to the Coast to Coast walk. Walkers can be picked up and taxied down to Dromonby Bridge from Clay Bank, Carlton Bank, Tofthill Caravan Park or Ingleby Cross only a 5 minute journey and of course you can walk down to Dromonby Bridge by various paths if you still have the legs! You will be returned to your pickup point after a hearty breakfast.
