After the not so devilish climb over the Devil’s staircase. built in 1750 by 450 of major Caulfield's men as part of the military road, the 'Way' continues with magnificent views of the Mamores, before dropping steeply down to Kinlochleven. From being an area of cottages and hunting lodges, Kinlochleven has grown during this century with the construction of an aluminium works and associated spin.
Tigh na Cheo offers beautiful four star accredited accommodation in the lovely village of Kinlochleven, the penultimate stop on the West Highland Way. There is so much to see and do, and the magnificent Mamore mountains are right on our doorstep.
