Cumbria Way

Mile 59

Caldbeck

Most walkers who venture north of Keswick along the Cumbria Way stop at Caldbeck. It marks the limit of the high ground, and further north you are very much back in lowland England. The village has a choice of places to stay - B&Bs, farms, a comfortable inn and a small campsite. Evening meals are available at the inn.
