The historic site of Heavenfield is considered a watershed moment in Northumbrian history and the end of St Oswald's Way. PLEASE NOTE: There are no accomodation options, public transport or suitable car parking in Heavenfield. You are advised to continue walking along Hadrian’s Wall Path to the village of Wall, or head south into Hexham. Both villages listed to choose accommodation.
