This was a charming home in a beautiful village. Our room was spacious, as was the bath. Breakfast in the lovely dining room was a standout. Jo was most welcoming.

The village of Stanton we had visited before and it was as stunning as we remembered. Quiet and well-kept it evoked the England of years gone by. The entrance from the main road to the lane leading to the Old Post House was marked by a bright red telephone kiosk and so was easy to find.
The welcome we received was as warm and pleasing as the accommodation. The room, which is the converted telephone exchange and separate from the house, was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Our four-course, home cooked evening meal was nothing short of five star - and to be served it in our own room especially enjoyable.
Breakfast, served in the actual Post Office part of the main house, was one of the very best we have tasted, and certainly set us up for a day’s activities.
I have already emailed many friends about The Old Post House and the friendly, first class treatment we had and hope that they, like us, may indulge themselves in its genial charm.

The Old Post House at Stanton was our first night's accommodation on the Cotswold Way Walk. We received a very warm welcome by Joanne and her husband. Our room was very comfortable, nicely furnished and very private. The next morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast in the main house and Joanne was very keen to tell us the history of the property.
A lovely home set in a very pretty village with excellent hosts - we can certainly recommend the Old Post House.
