A great place to stay, clean, bright, relaxing and very welcoming.

We were so happy to end up at the Nab House after such a long days walk. We opted to eat dinner before going to the B&B, and Clive came down and picked us up when we were ready. He came with a smile and a big welcome. What was once a ruin, is now a beautiful place. Amazing what they have done. We had a few wet things, and without hesitation, they encouraged us to spread everything out to dry. Jo fixed us a wonderful breakfast to get us going, and sent us off with a smile.
Highly reccommended.

Clive and Jo made us very welcome. Yes, it is out of Shap, but smack on the route for the next day. Clive kindly gave us a lift to and from the pub. A well equiped B&B recently rebuilt from a ruined farmhouse. Excellent breakfast and packed lunch.

Very warm welcome and great "full English" breakfast with local produce. Lovely comfy bed and plenty of space to relax in the lounge. Thoroughly recommend it.

Jo made us feel very welcome and the accomodation was excellent. Although a couple of miles out of Shap, it is right on the C2C route and Jo very kindly took us into Shap for the evening and later returned to take us back to the B&B.
The accomodation is very clean and there is a lounge for those who just want to chill out in the evening. Definitely well worth checking out.
