We are situated in the centre of Kinlochleven Village, between Glencoe and Fort William, and just a few minutes from the famous West Highland Way Walk, backing onto the River Leven. We have lovely views of the surrounding hills and the River Leven. On our doorstep is The Ice Factor, which lays claim to being the largest indoor ice climbing wall in Europe.

Edencoille is a charming small family run 4 Star guest house positioned in an elevated position overlooking Loch Leven, among the dramatic peaks of Glencoe and the Mamore Forest. We are particularly renowned for our local fresh sea-food, which includes lobster, scallops, crab, mussels and langoustines. All seafood meals must be pre-ordered with 24 hours' notice.

When you reach the road in Kinlochleven (B863), turn left and continue along the road passing by the Harlequin Bakery (on your right) and the Co-op (on your left). Continue past the Post Office then cross the viaduct and look for the Guest House signpost on the left. You can either follow the minor road, firstly left and then sharp right and continue up the hill around the corner to Edencoille or there is a small set of stairs which leads up through the grass. Edencoille is an "unofficial" Travel-lite depot so your bag(s) will be delivered to Edencoille.

700ft above sea level on the slopes of Am Bodach (The Old Man), and with spectacular views over Loch Leven and the surrounding Highland scenery, stands Mamore Lodge Hotel. Mamore Lodge was built at the turn of the century for Captain Frank Bibby. The Bibbys' were one of Liverpools great shipping families, and owned Bibbys' Shipping Line The Hotel has 12 comfortably appointed rooms, nearly all with en-suite facilities, magnificent views, and with original Scottish pinewood paneling. The restaurant and dining room, as well as the lounge have fine views over the Loch and village to the mountains north of Glencoe. Luggage will be dropped off at Tailrace Inn and not Mamore Lodge.

The MacDonald Hotel is ideally situated just off the WHW and within easy reach of the village centre and all amenities. It is situated at the head of a tidal creek at the sea loch of Loch Leven and all bedrooms have mountain views. The hotel has 10 bedrooms all of which have ensuite facilities with baths and showers, all have colour TV, and Tea and Coffee making facilities.

As you arrive into Kinlochleven, you will pass the Tailrace Inn on your left hand side. ie walk straight along the road until you come to the school. The hotel is on the left.
