A delightful 15th century old coaching inn, with the River Meon running by the side of the building. Set in the heart of some of Hampshire's most beautiful countryside. Historic buildings nearby. Delightful walks along the South Downs Way. Full A La Carte menu and bar snacks available. Outside catering events and bars. Comfortable accommodation, inglenook fireplaces and a very warm welcome. Children and dogs always welcome.
There are 6 comfortably furnished double bedrooms on two floors available for guests at Dunvegan Cottage.
The four first floor bedrooms (two twin, one double, one family) each have ensuite bathrooms, while the two downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom.
All rooms have colour televisions and tea/coffee making facilities.
The breakfast/sitting room, for guests' sole use is comfortably furnished with easy chairs and a colour television.
There is a good selection of English Tourist Board leaflets to enable guests to plan excursions around the area, whatever the weather.
Location and supplementary information[view map] Dunvegan Cottage is set in a three acre garden, on a quiet country lane about half a mile above the picturesque Doomsday village of East Meon. The house is surrounded by open farmland and most of the rooms have superb views over the South Downs.
