Magnificently situated, the wall can be seen from the farm. Saughy Rigg is in the middle of all the most important sites (Housesteads, Vindolanda, Great Chesters and the Roman Army Museum at Carvoran are all within 4 miles, via beautiful scenic walks), or if you are feeling less active you can always catch the 'Roman Wall' bus. Wonderful walks and wildlife begin at our door.Breakfasts are freshly cooked to order, and are served in extremely generous portions, and evening meals (served in equally generous portions) are popular. We pride ourselves in offering the best value in the area, with no compromise to quality. This is borne out by the many wonderful comments and compliments in our visitor's book.
