In the 18th century it was the hub of several packhorse trails, one of which you have followed up Stonesdale.

We have seven well appointed guest rooms. Two Doubles, A Triple and five Twins. Each room is en-suite with Television and Tea / Coffee making facilities. Bunk rooms available @ £15 per person with breakfast.
The Bar at Tan Hill is an experience not to be missed. Cask conditioned ales from Theakston and Black Sheep, complimented with a selection of Premium Lagers, fine Wines and Spirits. Home cooked food is available daily with no need to book. Book Packed Lunch @ £5 on arrival.
