Cocklawfoot Farm is situated at the base of the Cheviots in the Bowmont valley, 2.2 miles from Clennel Street crossing the Pennine Way. This working farm is an ideal stopover between Byrness and Kirk Yetholm. DINNER B&B tariff is provided, all cooked from the Aga. Menu selection and dietary requirements to be arranged 1 week in advance. We offer a twin or double room with private facilities (single occupancy available), drying facilities, hospitality tray, packed lunches and a warm welcome! Dogs are permitted to stay in kennel. LUGGAGE TRANSFERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO COCKLAWFOOT FARM. PLEASE INFORM SHERPA AT THE TIME OF BOOKING THAT YOU REQUIRE THIS SERVICE AT A COST OF 25 PER PARTY PAYABLE TO COCKLAWFOOT FARM AT THE TIME OF YOUR STAY.

Do not leave PW track at Windy Gyle. Walk further on approx 50 minutes, to the Four-way fingerpost at the point where Clennel Street (an old drovers road), crosses the PW track. Cocklawfoot is signposted here (2.2 miles). Easy walking downhill on track to Cocklawfoot.
