| About Uley
The unspoilt village of Uley lies in a picturesque hidden valley on the edge of the Cotswold Escarpment and half a mile from the Cotswold Way. There are a number of fine Georgian houses surrounding the village green as well as the Old Crown pub.
Overlooking Uley and dominating the skyline is the ancient hill fort of Uleybury. This is the most commanding Iron Age hill-fort in the Cotswolds and there are magnificent views from the hilltop overlooking the Severn valley.
