About Dursley There is a tourist information centre here. There is a public telephone here. There is a pub here. There is a grocery shop here. There is a restaurant here. There is a sandwich shop here. There is a bank here. There is a public lavatory here. There is a cashpoint here. There is a pharmacy here. There is a post office here. There is a cafe here. There is a bus stop here. There is a bank here.
Another Cotswold cloth-making centre, Dursley lies below Stinchcombe Hill and Cam Peak. The Cotswold Way offers another choice at this stage. The longer route 6 miles approx. climbs steeply from Dursley and circumnavigates Stinchcombe Hill and the golf course before coming almost full circle. The Berry Blue Cafe and Bistro is in the heart of Cam village, just off the A38 near Dursley open seven days a week. In the town centre the Market Hall stands on twelve stone arches. It has a statue of Queen Anne on the first storey, overlooking the main street. Long Street, with its 18th century houses, is the closest the town gets to the characteristic attractiveness of the Cotswolds. Residents of Dursley run Town Hall Teas every Sunday from the beginning of May until the end of September each year. A different charity provides homemade cakes and teas/coffee from 2.30pm until 5pm and the money less 10% for the maintenance of the Market Hall goes to the specific charity.
