Yockenthwaite is a small hamlet on the north bank of the River Wharfe. Near to the village is the Yockenthwaite stone circle, thought to be the kerbstones of a ring cairn (a mound of stones, sometimes covering a burial site).
Situated between the hamlets of Hubberholme and Yockenthwaite in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Low Raisgill B&B is a 17th century stone farm cottage with magnificent views of hay meadows, moorland and Buckden Pike. 5 minutes' walk from the bridge at Yockenthwaite & The Dales Way, guests who stay here will enjoy the quietness of a landscape that has changed little over the years; the call of the curlews in spring, lambing in April, the summer hay meadows and under the dark skies the Milky Way can still be seen. Leave your walking boots at the door, coats by the boiler and come inside our beautifully renovated home. We look forward to welcoming you.
