Holly Lodge is situated in Windermere, 20 minutes walk from the end of the trail in Bowness, but close to the railway station. Holly Lodge, built in 1854, is one of the oldest houses in Windermere. It is situated just off the main road in the village in a quiet position, close to shops, restaurants, buses and trains. You can be sure of a warm welcome at Holly Lodge. All nine en-suite bedrooms are individually decorated, with a refreshment tray, colour T.V. hairdryers and radio alarm clock. Two deluxe recently refurbished rooms @ £90 per night. Holly Lodge can be used as a luggage drop off point. There is a £3 per bag charge for this and collection is after 4 p.m.
