Situated just 300 yards from the sea and sands and 800 yards to the harbour, where you will find all the traditional attractions of a Yorkshire east coast resort. Just outside the guest house there are views accross the River Esk, to the historic Whitby Abbey. Cross the famous old swing bridge and walk along the cobbled streets with it's quaint shops, this will take you to the bottom of the 199 Abbey Stairs. At the Abbey visit the 6th Century Church and the new visitors centre. And why not take some time out to visit the Captain Cook Museum.
