Northcliff is a beautiful Victorian House with many original features. It is located in the upper part of Robin Hood's Bay close to the hotels and Post Office. PLEASE CHECK IN ON ARRIVAL AT ROBIN HOODS BAY AND COLLECT KEY. A short walk away is the ancient fishing village at the bottom of the Bay. Pretty beaches and rock pools are there for you to explore by day while at night the pubs and restaurants await you. Just a short ride away by bus or car are the busier resorts of Scarborough and Whitby and the glorious North York Moors National Park. Min. 2 nights at weekend May-Sept. No single occupancy during these months also.

The house was extensively renovated in the early part of 2004 and now provides quality en-suite guest accommodation on the first floor. The house is fully centrally heated and the guest rooms have colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and a range of complimentary toiletries. A traditional full English breakfast is provided, with vegetarian and lighter options available upon request. To ensure that we know guests have arrived safely in the village we ask that they call in as they pass Manning Tree on the way to the village.

Streonshalh (the old Viking name for Whitby) is a large Victorian semi-detached house, built in 1893 retaining many original features. Situated at the top of the village, Mount Pleasant South is the first street on the right past Station Road Stores/Post Office and 200 metres from the end of the Coastal path from Whitby (Cleveland Way). We offer clean, quiet, comfortable accommodation and can cater for parties of up to 11 people. Hikers welcome. Streonshalh has 7 en-suite letting rooms, consisting of doubles, twins and singles. We have four double rooms, 2 have king size beds and 2 have super king size beds. All rooms have flat screen TV/DVD players. Three of the double rooms can be twins and we have 3 dedicated en-suite single rooms with 3' beds.

Located 5 miles south of Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay hosts many walkers as the Coast to Coast walk finishes in the village. 'Heartbeat' country is a short drive from the village, as are other attractions such as the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway.

Camp site

The Villa was built in 1892 as a lodging house, the first of its kind, at the top of Bay Bank. This Victorian property has been lovingly restored retaining all its original features such as: servant bells, original cast iron fireplaces in all bedrooms and cast iron range in the kitchen. Our newly refurbished ensuite bedrooms have a choice of either a bath or shower to suit your requirements. The bus stop for Scarborough or Whitby is just 100 yards away. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and colour teletext TV. Limited free parking is available, there is also a seating area available for use at the front of The Villa to relax and take in the atmosphere of the village.
