Black Bull Hotel was built around 400 years ago as a Coaching Inn, providing accommodation for travellers, coach men and horses. 15 Rooms available all of a high standard, including 4 ground floor rooms and 4 cottage bedrooms with riverside location. Rooms range from twin to family rooms. Rooms are refurbished regularly.

Orchard Cottage situated in the centre of Coniston village has 3 attractive en-suite rooms. All have tea/coffee facilities, hairdryers and free wi fi access is available upon request. A comfortable lounge with TV is available for guests use. The price includes full English breakfast. Packed lunches can be ordered for an extra charge and we are happy to fill your flasks free. As we all know the Lake District weather can be wet so we are well equipped to dry you out. Alternatively for those warm sunny days we have an outside seating area. We also have self catering accommodation in Coniston and a guest house called Brathay Lodge in Ambleside. Special Offers are available on all our properties at different times of the year.

Beech Tree House is full of character, it stands in its own attractive gardens, 150m from the village centre and all amenities. Our eight letting bedrooms are individually decorated and there is a television lounge and guest dining room. We have ample parking and drying facilities if the weather is inclement. There are many beautiful walks from the house, which makes an ideal base for exploring the Southern Lakes and fells, or overnight stop on the Cumbria Way.

Excellent campsite. Small but friendly run shop that stocks all essentials. They freeze your ice packs overnight for 10p each. There are plenty of clean toilets. Showers cost 50p but the water doesn't stay on constantly, you have to keep pushing the button in. 10 min walk into Coniston which is a lovely town with at least one pub.

We offer special bed and breakfast in the well known farmhouse, the house retains all its original features giving it a unique character and friendly atmosphere. Our comfortable guest lounge has a television and cosy real fire and tea, coffee hot chocolate and biscuits are always available. The hearty breakfast is served in the fascinating dining room that was furnished by Beatrix Potter herself! Our enticing breakfast menu has options for all dietary requirements. All food is sourced locally where possible and prepared to a very high standard.

Welcome to Wheelgate, a charming 17th century farmhouse with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All our rooms have ensuite shower rooms and although we do not serve evening meals at Wheelgate, there is plenty of choice when it comes to eating out. Do not take single night bookings.

Leave M6 at Junction 36 onto A591 to Windermere and on to Ambleside. Take A593 from Ambleside to Coniston. On arrival in Coniston pass the fire station on the left take the first left and The Crown is in front of you
 

The Yewdale Hotel is a situated in the centre of Coniston and therefore central for the scenic delights of the Lake District. Built of local stone and slate in 1896, it was once part guest house and part bank. In the bar and dining room fresh seasonal produce features on a varied menu that includes plenty of choice for vegetarians as well as children's dishes. In addition an extended bar menu is offered daily between 12 noon and 9pm.
