Bee Cottage Guesthouse is situated on the edge of the beautiful Durham Dales and enjoys stunning views. Its quiet, rural location just off the main A68 makes it a great place to relax and unwind. In recent years, Bee Cottage has undergone extensive refurbishment and has a 4 star official rating. All eight bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, TV, tea-making facilities and hairdryer. Some ground floor rooms are available. We operate a non-smoking policy throughout. There are two conservatory dining rooms and two guests' lounges, all of which have lovely views. There is ample car parking.

Set in an area rich in natural beauty, and offering superior B&B accommodation, Deneview Guest House is 2 miles from Consett in a rural village called Castleside, on the edge of the Durham Dales. On the main A68 trunk road to Scotland and 12 miles north of Durham City, it is ideally situated for an overnight break for travellers, or a great base to spend a few days just visiting many of the local attractions and places of interest. The spacious rooms are double/twin or single, furnished to a high quality all with en-suite facilities, digital colour TV and tea / coffee facilities.

Wharnley Barn is a 14th Century Farmhouse, conveniently situated on the A68 in the beautiful Derwent Valley on the border of County Durham and Northumberland. We are an ideal touring centre for historic Durham, Corbridge, Hexham, Gateshead and Newcastle, as well as many interesting villages. For those wanting a more energetic holiday the area abounds in beautiful walks in the North Penines, sailing, canoeing and bird watching on the Derwent Reservoir, all within easy reach. We are also near the C2C cycle route.

Well-mannered pets will be welcome at an extra cost, but not in the house. We have pet facilities and dogs must be kept on a lead. (Any damage caused by Pets or Children will have to be paid for).
 

Castleneuk is a family run Guest House, B&B offering comfortable accommodation to C2C cyclists. Castleneuk Guest House is situated in the picturesque village of Castleside which is located twelve miles North West of the historical city of Durham. The guesthouse hosts four comfortable rooms, which are equipped with bathroom, hairdryer and television. The guesthouse contains a TV lounge where guests can relax alongside off street parking and tea/coffee on arrival.

The centre offers hostel accommodation mainly in 5,6 and 7 bedded rooms. There are lounges with TV, pool table and a small kitchen for making drinks or snacks and a laundry. We have a modern cafe/restaurant with a large dining area that can seat up to 50 people per sitting with food prepared and served by our friendly staff.
