Tilldale House is situated on the High Street, this is not a main road, just a loop off the main A697 Cottage Road. It is used by local traffic only and is quiet during evening hours. Each room has its own private facilities, with a proper bathroom, not a shower in a cupboard! (One of our guests described them as being more like 'mini-suites'!)
