About Grinton There is a pub here.

This is a small village of attractive houses built out of the local grey limestone. It was once important as at one time it had the only parish church in Swaledale, St Andrews, which has Norman foundations. There is an inn, various B&Bs and a youth hostel. A bus service linking Reeth and Grinton with Richmond runs two or three times a day (not Sundays)
