| Stayed 30th July 2010. A lovely setting and a super B&B. Stuart and Judy have got their place just right. From pick up on Clay Bank, to the run to and from the Buck Inn to the return to Clay Bank the next morning Stuart could not be more helpful and obliging. Judy's breakfasts are superb (special mention for the porridge!) and the room was large, light and airy with lots of space to spread our stuff out and get reorganised. The evening meal at the Buck was fine - good standard pub grub and we were able to meet and chat with fellow walkers staying at West Cote so good all round. Highly recommended. | |

| Stayed here 14th September 2009 Excellent B/B run by a great couple who proved to be a mine of information about the long distance walks through the area, transport from Clay Bank very effieient, Judy even gives instructions on were to stand on the fell to get a mobile signal. Fantastic selection available for breakfast including a vast selection of cheese, Had to concede that Judy made better porridge than myself. Only downside with my stay at Chopgate was the very poor evening meal served at the Buck Inn. | |
