Really enjoyed staying here. Spotlessly clean with a real focus on meeting the needs of walkers. Would certainly recommend.

Very good, spotlessly clean b and b. Very good cooked breakfast, pre-ordered the previous evening, with healthy options available too, and yogurt and fruit. Good packed lunch. Close to The Fox and Hounds, which had excellent beers, a very good menu, reasonably priced, with good sized portions and quick service.

Stayed here early September whilst doing C2C, very welcoming, when we arrived they phoned the Shepherds Arms and booked a table for us to eat in the evening. Good nights sleep followed by a good breakfast. Sent us on our way with an excellent packed lunch.

We stayed here during our C2C walk. We were given a lovely double aspect double room with plenty of space in which to spread out. Large comfy bed and great hot shower with toiletries provided, just what was needed after the first days walk. Maria managed admirably in the absence of Rosaline who was having a few days break. Mobile phone reception was good and Wi-Fi was available. The local pub (Fox and Hounds) was a couple of minutesí walk away and catered for hearty appetites. A filling breakfast next morning prepared us for the day ahead. Maria, herself a keen walker, offered plenty of helpful advice regarding the walk ahead, in view of the predicted inclement weather. Recommended. Stayed May 31st 2015

Stayed here April 2014. Loverly warm welcome from friendly couple. Big bright en-suite room. Would recommend this b&b

We were welcomed by Rosaleen into their lovely home with pots of tea and scones, very welcome after our first days walk.
Great room, breakfast and packed lunch. We were only their second guests. Good luck Rosaleen&Billy with your new venture.
