Stayed April 2014. Warm friendly receptionist. Massive room and bathroom (great to have a bath) Very good breakfast. Central location for walk round village shops, pubs and Wordsworth memorablia. Expensive but a nice treat

Warm welcome and my son got a room upgrade !
Nice to have baths as well as showers.
The Lamb Inn part let them down. Dirty tables, even early in the evening.Put us off eating there. Good breakfast and very friendly staff.

The micest and largest room on whole of C2C but also one of the most expensive.

Only criticism was that dinner in restaurant was typical of similar hotel restaurants - expensive.

Great jacuzzi bath and perfect central location.

Large hotel with good facilities including swimming pool. Rooms well appointed and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Had evening meal in Lambs Bar, decent pub grub. Accepts dogs. Overall good but most expensive hotel on route. 31 May 2007

A Best Western hotel. Very central position. Comfortable but noisy rooms. Bathroom complete with bath!

Restaurant good. Bar also does food which is better value but more basic. Bar is a very popular local venue and has Sky sports on the TV which is great for International football.
