Room on top floor with very cramped bathroom and a leaking shower(down to floor below). Very good breakfast.

Best way to finish C2C walk, stopped an extra night, everyone should to explore Robin Hoods Bay and this is the place to have those nights. Great breakfast, personable hosts, good room, and spotlessly clean. could not fault this place

Highly recommended. Great hosts, lovely rooms, delicious breakfast!

Comfortable rooms although the top floor has an interesting roofline so we banged our heads a couple of times! All the facilities we expect but we arrived soaking wet and the heating wasn't on - which is reasonable in July - so we had no way of drying our wet things. The breakfast was good with freah fruit and home made muffins.

A fine b&b which was very welcome at the end of the C2C walk. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts. This must have been the best breakfast of the whole walk! Fresh fruit (yum!) freshly chopped each morning and put into individual bowls for each guest. The range of high quality food was almost overwhelming. As vegetarians, they provided us with our first 'full English' vegetarian with Cauldron veggie sausages. The room was good and very quiet and convenient for the bus if, as we did, you wish to extend your stay and visit Whitby or Scarborough. Just a short walk down the hill to the sea and then up the hill afterwards! Also wi-fi is available for your iPod.

Provided you don't mind the climb back up to the top of the hill this is an excellent place to stay - a comfortable room, super friendly & helpful hosts and an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice for anyone unable to face another

If like me you arrive after a long wet day, stop off to change before walking down into the bay. It may seem a long way to walk back up-hill to B&B but it is on doorstep of bus routes to Scarborough and Whitby. Lots of places to eat both in the bay and close to B&B.
Needed to be up with the Larks the next day to get bus to Scarborough Station, so didn't have time to get to know the owner, but he seemed to be a friendly, genial host [ps. if like me you come from Leicestershire, he's a local boy]
When you walk into village from walk, turn left towards town and take first left to find B&B.

A top class B&B, an excellent place to finish your c2c walk, made to feel very, very welcome. Excellent hosts, will use again and recommend to others. Very comfortable clean rooms. A fantastic fruit cocktail for breakfast followed by a hearty full English * * * * *

This was a nice place to finish the walk. The fresh fruit salad at breakfast was very welcome as a change from (albeit appreciated-at-the-time) cooked breakfasts whilst on the track. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly hosts.

Of course everyone wants to stay in the lower village, but up here it was quieter and less touristy, also closer to the bus service and the PO.You pass close by on coming into the village from the bluffs. Friendly, welcoming host and hostess, pleasant though small room, good shower in bathroom, very comfortable bed to recover from the long trek. Breakfast was fresh and good, prepared to order, served in charming room with big window. Good value! Was there 14 and 15 May, 2008.
