Below the hotel here, the Inverarnan Canal was built around 1850, to bring the increasing Victorian loch traffic up for drinks. Drovers are meant to have even gone all the way down to Norwich on occasion! The cattle were driven over the hills from Glen Fyne and then into the Balquhiddar or Glengyle valleys.
Basic camping cabins, pitches, B&B accommodation. Large shelter for campers, shop, shower block, laundry. Sleeping bags, linen, pillows and towels avialable for hire.
Two miles north from the top of Loch Lomond on the West Highland Way Access to Beinglas Farm Campsite is only permitted between 7.00am-11.00pm daily. If you require a late/early arrival or departure please let us know!
