We stayed here four years ago when we walked the Wall Path. We were rather dubious when booking, imagining that we would be kept awake all night with dogs barking - but no, no dogs in evidence. Instead there was a lovely large room and an excellent breakfast and a very kind landlady who was nice to us even when she had to come after us all the way to the Hadrian Hotel in Wall because we had stupidly taken the room key with us!
