If you visit this village you will discover the lead-mining heritage of one of the highest villages in England. There are places to eat in Nenthead - two pubs, which also offer various accommodation, a paddock for campers, or a bunk house. The Mines Heritage Centre offers refreshments and a bunkhouse.
In the 18th century, Mill Cottage was part of the home of the smelt mill manager. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the C2C. A short walk from the pub, community shop and bike repair shop. The bunkhouse which is open all year, will sleep six in the upstairs bunkroom. A self catering continental breakfast is provided and other meals can be booked at the local pub the Miners Arms.
