| I was a little concerned when I saw the dark interior of the pub and smelled cigarette smoke on the first floor as we went up to our room on the second. But the room was very nice and clean. Good showers. We were told that the scrambled eggs we requested for breakfast would be the best ever, and they were surprisingly good. | |

| Under new management the pub is undergoing improvements. We got a warm welcome from Bob and Lynda. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pub food was brilliant! | |

| A lovely room overlooking the stream,but a bit dated. Although there was a good range of beers Im afraid the food service was very poor.After walking all day I didnt expect to have to wait for over an hour for my evening meal after ordering. Breakfast was ok, but after traveling on to other b+bs realised it was of a poorer standard. | |
