Great B&B enjoyed the food from 4 Hadrians Way Ladies who came in July 2013

This was one of the best b and b's on the walk by far. On the route so no having to walk off the trail at all. We were given a warm welcome but agree with the comments about the heating, it was rather chilly but later on in the evening someone did mention this and the heating was turned on briefly. My only small grumble was the tepid shower, there only seemed to be enough hot water for one shower!
But.... the positives far outway these minor niggles, the room was beautiful and so comfortable, the food was amazing, restaurant standard, and plenty of it, the lamb was amazing, even though the farm sheep were visiible from the dining room this didn't put me off !!
Breakfast again was excellent. I would really recommend a stay here.

The property looks good. Lovely location and well furnished. It was however freezing cold, no heating anywhere in the property, and previous gusts had complained about the same issue. Went to bed in a jumper to keep warm at 8:30pm! The bedside lights had no bulbs in and the kettle was faulty.

This B&B was very nicely appointed & we had a warm welcome & liked our spacious room. The meal was great, despite being booked at short notice.I would like to recommend this B&B as it was almost there, but the lack of heating in the guest areas & bedroom meant we went to bed at 8.30 in walking socks & fleeces!!!(This was in early May,when we had been told the house was cold this side). At this point we noticed no lightbulbs in the bedside lights! So,whilst so much was right & excellent, these things let it down & I would only stay there again in a heatwave!

My wife and I stayed here 5/8/10 and had phoned Owen the day before to pre-book two evening meals. The food was excellent, as was the wine and atmosphere. We found the room clean, very spacious and comfortable. We noted the room we had would be suitable for someone using a wheelchair.
Breakfast was excellent again and our host rearranged the seating so we could sit with a friend we had met on the walk.
We would stay here again anytime. It was one of the best B and B's we stayed at along the route. Owen's cooking was superb.
