| Midge the border collie and I stayed here again in July 2011 on the Brecon Beacons Way. Still as good and still good value. | |

| Excellent place to stay. The rooms are not en suite - but what do you expect for this very reasonable price? The food is very good and in huge portions. My breakfast could have fed three. Beer and cider excellent and the setting is superb. The trek down from and up onto the ridge is a bit of a bind but worth the detour. Best value of my trip. Stayed 22/6/09 | |

| This inn was a disaster. Incredibly run down, dirty, to be avoided. - Tim Yarrow. 17th May 2004 04:32am thank you Mr Vickers, sorry about no towels, actually plenty are available. (absent minded cleaning lady that day!) - christine smith 7th Apr 2003 10:36am Off route but a delightful walk down with the abbey always in front of you. Remote country pub, basic food and accommodation (no towels), friendly landlord, real ale from local brewery. - Phil Vickers 29th Sep 2002 03:11am | |
