| The most wonderful place to stay - a real highlight of our holiday. A really warm welcome - tea and cake in the parlour! - and luxurious comfort as well as being such an interesting place to stay. Jeronime offers a wide choice of vegetarian food for breakfast. We were treated to fruit juice, fruit salad and yoghurt, porridge, a delicious cooked breakfast (I had poached fish and eggs with home made tomato salsa and mixed green salad leaves while Roger had 3 vege-bangers, eggs, baked beans, mushrooms and tomato) followed by toasted home made bread with a choice of preserves including their own honey! We felt very fortunate to stay there and were well set up to face a long wet walk to Caldbeck! Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to stay again one day. | |
