On arrival I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, by the new owners, Peter and Amanda, whilst walking the Dales Highway.
The lift to and from the pub for a meal was much appreciated.
My room and bed were very comfortable with a plentiful supply of tea and coffee.
A lovely guests lounge area to relax in.
Breakfast was perfect, well cooked and tasty also the possibility of seeing red squirrels and woodpeckers on the terrace with a lovely view to the Howgills while you eat it.
The best B&B I've stayed in on any of my long distance walks.
I will be returning with my wife in the near future.
